A Walk Before Night Falls...

Three minutes by foot from our back door...the playground is empty, just a couple of dog walkers in the distance...

It's late, and I won't have time to do the roundtrip I had planned...but a little walk is better than no walk at all.

...oops, missed my face.

...there are some gardens which border the farmland at the edge of the woods.

...and some chicken coups.

Providence...an empty bench. How does the world look supine?

Oh wow...a glider.

Austerity meets grace.

Take care, our storks have returned. Please do not trespass on their territory reserve. Thank you, the local authorities.

Back the same way I came. This red-head has caught my eye.

...and I have caught theirs.

...back into the woods. Look--do you see that? Doo-doo-do-doo--del-al-la-la-laaaa...

They breath...

Duration: one hour.

Feeling: great! :-D

  5. looks beautiful, where you are living! Did you have white christmas once before, or is it too warm in your area?
We also have this autumnal landscape around this year!

  6. Thanks for writing, friends!

Actually, it was quite warm, and is quite warm for this time of year. I feel lucky to be able to reach places like this in such a short time. Our town is surrounded by woods, and it's possible to bike to France without ever having to cross a highway (there are tunnels for pedestrians, or pedestrian bridges).

It is more beautiful when it snows because snow reflects the light and everything is much brighter. We will get some in January and February when the east winds blow from Russia!
